Conference Bridges
This is the home for the settings on the phone interface system. Most of the information here is self-explanatory. This is only a place to view this info. The settings will be covered further along.
Name - The name of the Bridge.
Location - If applicable, the location the stream comes from may be shared here.
Conference - The identification # of the conference bridge.
Conference Auth Level - The level of access control that is currently set on the phone system.
Mount Auth Level - The level of access control that is set for your streaming listeners.
Min for Report - An important setting that sets when listener reports will go out by email.
Actions - This is where you go to change the settings that we can view on the Conference Bridges page.
Manage Conference Bridge
This button takes you to our phone conference bridge solution, powered by Turbobridge. For information on how to manage your conference bridge, see the Turbobridge Documentation.
2. Manage Recording
You can create recordings of any portion of your data stream and share them with your congregation. After clicking Recording, you will be taken directly to Conference Recordings, where you can manage any recordings you have created.
Each recording created can be shared, listened to, or downloaded via the buttons under Actions.
Invite Users: Each recording is potentially covered by copyright, and downloading for the purposes of sharing is not recommended. Instead, you can share the recording, placing a limit on the time frame it is made available. Invite the desired recipient via User ID or email address, and select the length of time the recording will be made available.
Public Listen: This is another method of sharing a recording. This method is not limited to registered ListentoChurch members. Upon clicking the Public Listen button, you will be prompted to select one of two options:
Default Link: This will create a link that will last for the life of the recording.
Custom Link: This will create a link that will last for the number of days specified in Lifetime Link in Days.
Transcription: Provides a transcription of the recording for the hearing impaired or those who wish to read the sermon while they listen.
Download the Recording: Only download recordings for personal use, or you run the risk of violating copyright law.
3. Status
Status will show the current status of the conference bridge in question. If actively being listened to, information will be presented in the graph below regarding number of users.
4. Edit Conference Bridge
General Settings
Edit Conference Bridge General Settings
Name - Display purposes only.
Location - Display purposes only.
Minimum for Report
Always Send - Send an emailed report every time someone calls into your telephone listening number.
Send when 2 or more - This will wait to send a report until there are 2 or more callers hooked up at one time. This will eliminate a lot of the emails generated by people calling to check if you’re having a service.
Days to Keep Recordings
Determine how long you wish to keep the recording. We recommend setting this to as small a number as they can work with. If a recording has been shared with people, it will not be deleted until that share has expired.
Permissions
Conference Authorization Level - CURRENTLY DISABLED
Set the authorization level for the listeners on the conference bridge.
Open - Allows anyone to call in and listen.
Block Unlisted - Block unlisted numbers from listening.
Locked - This limits the phone listeners to the numbers associated with authorized users. These will be members of the groups listed above or users listed individually above.
Mount Authorization Level
Set the authorization level for listeners connecting to the stream.
Closed - Only the Phone can Connect - This is exactly as the setting implies, only people dialled into the stream from their phone will have access.
EasyListen and Telegram Hardware Only - This option will only allow connections from registered EasyListen devices that are connected to an account, or Telegram users that belong to the conference or a group associated with the conference.
Open - Not Recommended. This setting allows anybody to connect to the stream. Does not allow for usage reports.
Reporting Only - Recommended - This is the default and allows all users to connect. This option populates our reporting system.
Require Unvalidated Info - This setting requires an account to join the stream, but the email address does not have to be validated. For example, an account might be created under an email address of j_bieber@belieber.ca but the account holder may not be the person implied.
Whitelist and Telegram Only - Only allows invited Telegram users and other users who have been added directly to the conference or who belong to a group that has been tagged to the conference.
Telegram Only - Only telegram users added/invited to the conference stream will have access.
Note: Don’t forget to save any changes you made before you leave the page.
5. Settings
