In this workspace, you will see all available recordings from streams and conferences combined. Here you can edit these recordings or delete them (via the Edit and Delete links on each line), or invite, listen to or download each recording.
Important: Downloading recordings and sharing files with your congregation may (and likely will) violate copyright law. The download function should only be used for personal use. Use the Share Recording function described below instead to share.
Each recording created can be shared, listened to, or downloaded via the buttons under Actions.
Share a Recording: Each recording is potentially covered by copyright, and downloading for the purposes of sharing is not recommended. Instead, you can share an invite with access to the recording, placing a limit on the time frame it is made available. Ownership of the file itself does not change hands. Enter the user ID or email address of the desired recipient, and select the length of time the recording will be made available.
Public Listen: This is an alternate method of sharing a recording, and is not contingent on inviting an existing ListenToChurch member. Upon clicking Public Listen, you will be presented two options:
A link that will be valid for the life of the recording.
A custom link that will expire after the timeframe specified in Lifetime of link in days.
Click either link option, and you will be taken to a separate page where you can listen to the recording. Click Play to listen from this page. You can also pause, rewind, fast forward, or seek to a particular point in the recording. Copy and paste the listen page URL, and send it to the desired recipients.
Transcription: Here you can download a transcription of the recording, a perfect option to help the hearing impaired, or simply those who prefer to read the content.
Download the Recording: Only download recordings for personal use, or you run the risk of violating copyright law.
