How To: Set Up the Barix Instreamer
The Barix Instreamer device transmits the audio into our MP3 Streaming service and into your conference bridge when it is turned on or when the volume level is high enough. It is available for sale in Canada from us or from Montezuma Sound in the USA.
For more information on the Barix Instreamer, check out the Data Sheet.
You will want to be sure all changes are made only under the advanced settings on the Instreamer device. If changes are made to the basic settings portion, it will erase the necessary advanced settings.
The Barix Instreamer device is connected via ethernet, and provided with an IP address, which in turn creates a management web URL based on this IP address, for example, 'https://192.168.1.11/'. Connect to the Barix Instreamer's internal website to manage your Instreamer device.
(If you need more information to determine your Instreamer URL, see their documentation.)
Note: The settings displayed in this guide should remain accurate. However, screenshots of the Barix Instreamer web interface depicted below are subject to potential change.
